Object Navigator Menu

The Object Navigator gives you easy access to rows, columns, and content blocks to navigate to them, clone them or edit their styles without having to scroll through the builder. This is included in Forms, Landing Pages and Email Templates

You can find the Object Navigator in the right hand menu in our builders

The icon displayed above will open the Object Navigator menu. Here you will be able to see all objects (rows, columns and content blocks) in the asset:

You can select each item in the tree and it will direct you to the object you would like to navigate to, these will be rows, columns, or content blocks (text box, images etc.)

You are able to navigate through the object tree to columns within the row, and to content blocks within each column using the '+' signs to further open up the tree. You can also navigate directly to the row object as the example before

A great use for this is in multi page forms when you need to move something from the second page to the first!

Naming Content

To reduce complexity of managing larger pages, you can name any row, column, or content block. You can do so opening the Edit Styles on each item and adding a your own label under 'Name'. Make sure you select Save & Close to save changes in the Edit Styles!

You will then see this updated on the Object Navigator:

Searching Content

Another feature of the Object Navigator, in case there are several objects, you can Search with the search bar to find the one needed:

Furthermore, within the Object Navigator you are able to quickly clone, edit styles, and delete the objects listed in the tree. You are also able to edit the content blocks directly from this view as well.

mceclip3.png Clone: Will clone the row, column, or content block within the asset. Note it will not clone it to other assets or accounts.
mceclip4.png Edit Styles: Will send you to the Edit Style menu. You don’t have to navigate to each specific row or content block to edit the styles.

Delete: Delete row or content blocks. You will get a warning to confirm you want to delete the object.

The Object Navigator gives you easy access to rows, columns, and content blocks to navigate to them, clone them or edit their styles without having to scroll through the builder.

Reordering Content

An easy way to move content around your asset is to use the object navigator's drag and drop feature:

With this, you can move around content blocks and re-order rows. This is especially useful for managing content on multi-page forms.
