Why won't contacts post to the CRM? Missing Care Type Error

When posting a contact to WelcomeHome or Sherpa CRM, Care Type is a required field. 

 

Care Type is a contact custom field in your account: 

 

It is one of the default fields that should be mapped in Field Mappings (Account Settings > Field Management > Field Mappings) to ensure that Care Type is posted whenever a contact is posted to the CRM. E.g.: 

When Care Type is not set for a contact, you will see the following error when posting the contact to the CRM:

 

The Care Type custom field should be set either in your ActiveDEMAND forms or manually set in the form autoresponder if it is not a field you want the contact to fill out.
