ActiveDEMAND Calendar Authentication for Clients with Internal Network restrictions

ActiveDEMAND Appointment Scheduling system is a great tool that many Senior Living clients implement across their communities. We give their sales team an option to authenticate a Google or Office365 calendar to see the tours booked and block off the time when they are not available.

A Sales Councellour should be able to authenticate their Google/Office365 calendar by login into the platform or from the calendar authentication email:

In some cases, the client`s company uses a Firewall that blocks the authentication and confirmation links (tokens). The person who is trying to confirm their ActiveDEMAND user or authenticate their Google/Outlook calendar would get the following error:

Solution:
Step 1: Ensure all DNS records in the client account are set and propagated.

Step 2: Ask the client`s IT department to add the respective landing page and link records to their Internal DNS Settings.

Having these records added internally, will allow everyone who uses the office (company) network have access to ActiveDEMAND authentication and account confirmation links.
