Adding the Salesforce Integration Package

First... In ActiveDEMAND:

1. In your ActiveDEMAND account ( Administration-> Account Settings). Scroll down to Integrations -> Third Party Applications. Click the 'Add Application' button.

**Enter an email address that has admin login rights to your SF account. **

 

2. Click the 'authenticate' button next to the app

 

3. Scroll down to Custom Fields in the account settings in ActiveDEMAND. Click the 'CRM Lead Field Mappings' button.

Map the fields from AD to SF. This mapping is used whenever AD Posts to Salesforce. The mapping for bringing contact back to AD uses a separate set of mapping configured in the Contact Import section of the product. 

In SalesForce

As admin, start by uninstalling any previous versions of the package:

As admin, install the ActiveDEMAND Salesforce package by clicking this link

If this does not work, use

Choose 'For Admins' and 'accept the 'ack'

 

Click Done

 

 

1. Set up the ActiveDEMAND URL

 

1.1 In your account, browse to your CRM-Contact Updates. Either edit your existing configuration or, if you have not created one, create a new one. Go through the process of mapping your fields. Then on the schedule screen, choose Webhook

 

1.2 Copy the ActiveDEMAND Package URL

 

Using Salesforce Lightning (scroll down for Salesforce Classic)

2.1 In Salesforce (as administrator), click the app launcher

 

 

 

2.2 Select the ActiveDEMAND app

 

2.3  Click the configuration Tab, click edit

 

 

2.4 Past your ActiveDEMAND webhook URL that you received from ActiveDEMAND support into the edit and save

 

3. Authorize remote communications

3.1 Press setup in the top right corner:

 

3.2 In Quick Find/ Search box find Remote Site Settings

 

 

3.3 Press New Remote Site button

 

 

3.4 Provide values as you see on screenshot:

Using Salesforce Classic 

 

 

2.1 In Salesforce (as administrator), click the app launcher

 

 

2.3 Select the ActiveDEMAND app

2.4  Click the configuration Tab, click edit

 

 

1.5 Past your ActiveDEMAND webhook URL that you received from ActiveDEMAND support into the edit and save

 

3. Authorize remote communications

  • Account
  • Lead
  • Contact
  • Opportunity
