GDPR Tool Suite: Automating Forget Me Requests

ActiveDEMAND has a GDPR Tool Suite to assist marketers comply with the new regulations. GDPR requires that contacts have the 'right to be forgotten'. This requires the organization remove all of the contact's data from its database. This video gives the step by step demo to create a simple Forget Me request landing page shows how the ActiveDEMAND platform handles the request.

By using the "Forget Contact" in your "Forget Me" form Autoresponder, the system will log the removal request. Removal requests show up in "Forget Me Requests" under Administration. You could also choose to add an email, Slack, text message, or other notification in the workflow to let an administrator know that there has been a removal request.
