Why am I seeing duplicate visit data on visitor's timelines?

If you add the ActiveDEMAND tracking script to your website more than once, you will see duplicate visit data.  

An easy test:

1. Open the webpage
2. in Chrome: CTRL+Shift + i
3. Select the network tab
4. type 'visit' in the filter
5. refresh the page

Typical scenarios to investigate the script is added to the website more than once

1. Added the Wordpress plugin to the site AND inserting the script via Google Tag Manager
2. Added the Wordpress plugin to the site AND added the script to the header
3. Added the script to the header AND via Google Tag Manager

Solution: Ensure the tracking script is on the site only once.
