Depending on the widget may expose unique properties and options. These options are widget specific and thus are not available on all widgets.

Date Range Selector:
This gives the user the option to restrict the range of the report data by the date range specified.

For multi-tenant parent accounts, some widgets allow for the selection of a sub-account for the data - Add Custom Columns
For data widgets that render contact data, some widgets allow you to append custom field columns to allow for displaying a set of contact custom field values for the records at the time of the report being run

Summary reports that present campaign goal data may offer the option of adding a Goal Tag Column to summarize the number of goals completed for a specific Goal Tag - Account Filter
In a multi-tenant environment, rollup reports will offer the option to select which child accounts should be included in the report data
Contact/Organization Segment Filter
Some data widgets will allow you to filter the widget by a defined contact/organization segment
Filter by Goal Tags
For widgets that display data that includes campaign goals, some widgets will allow you to filter the data by specific goal tags. The resulting data is an OR of the selected goal tags
