Email Builder Basics (Import your own template)

You can use templates built in other products within ActiveDEMAND. Note that doing this will remove the drag and drop builder capabilities, as the entire email will need to be built within the HTML editor.

Step 1. In the main screen, go to the menu on the left 

-Select Assets  

-Toggle down to Email Template 

Step 2. Select New Email Template 

Step 3. Scroll down to Import Template and select 

Step 4. Give your template a relevant name 

Step 5. Click on the text block

Step 6. Place your template code in the source editor

Note: Most email clients will not render certain HTML codes, for example, shadows, iframes. Even though it will show in the builder preview, it might not necessarily render when opened in Gmail, Outlook, or other email clients.
