There will be scenarios where your client has advised that they are changing their Domain Name information. What are the follow up steps related to your ActiveDEMAND platform?
- Update the Website URL
- Go to Administration -> Account Settings -> Contact Information
- Update the Default Marketing Reply Email
- Go to Administration -> Account Settings -> Contact Information
- Update the CNAME Setup to reflect the new Domain Name information
- Go to Administration -> Account Settings -> CNAME Record Setup
- Landing Page Domain field
- Link Branding Domain field
- Email Sending Domain field
- Reach out to ActiveDEMAND Support (engage@activedemand.com) once the CNAME Record Setup fields have been set
- The ActiveDEMAND team will generate and send you new validation CNAME records for you to set in order to generate an SSL certificate for the new domain.
- Once the validation CNAME records have been set, the ActiveDEMAND team will generate the new SSL Endpoint information for the account
- Go to Administration -> Account Settings -> CNAME Record Setup
- Don't forget to add the tracking script on the new domain. Here is an article on Setting up the tracking script for your website
