Why am I getting an error when trying to confirm my account?

ActiveDEMAND allows you to create user logins for your employees and clients to access the platform. There are some cases though, when they click the account confirmation link from their email and receive an alert of the following type claiming their connection is not secure:


This is happening because the default ActiveDEMAND confirmation link comes through over http:// while your website has an enhanced security setting enabled: HSTS protocol (HTTP Strict Transport Security). This is forcing your domain and all sub domains, including your ActiveDEMAND landing pages and links, to be over SSL.

To fix this, you need to reach out to ActiveDEMAND support on chat or by emailing support@activedemand.com and we will enable SSL for your ActiveDEMAND account. There is no charge associated with this.
