If the message shows as delivered in the contact activity history, but you have not received any messages, please try the following:
1. Reboot the phone to refresh the network signal.
2. Clear phone inbox to ensure it is not full.
3. Check if there are any phone applications/settings that are filtering SMS.
4. Disable call/SMS barring settings
5. Delete all old messages with the same sender id and restart the handset.
